I started Pilates about a year ago with a hip injury and needed injections. But after a few months all the pain was gone, and I haven’t needed a shot since. I have many fewer aches and pains and less stiffness. I am able to get up and down from the floor and reach over to pick things up easily now.

II have been working with Zoe on modifying my exercise routine. I was very stiff from my rowing routine. Even though I was always very active with running biking and rowing I had imbalances and struggled with recurring injuries. Since I added Pilates to my exercise regime, I am injury free and feel like my muscle balance is much better! I highly recommend working with Zoe as an active ager!

I didn’t start Pilates until I retired and was well into my 70s. I noticed I was walking with a stoop and wanted to see if I could improve my posture. I had never exercised much before, but I have noticed a marked improvement in my body. Working with Zoe on mostly “pre-Pilates”, I have improved my posture and am able to get up out of a chair easily now. My friends were surprised when I climbed the steep stairs to their home without stopping to rest. My goal is to gain enough strength and stamina back to go on a trip Europe again in six months and not be the slowest senior in the group! With Pilates and Zoe, I know I can reach my goal.

My student texted me from Cabo where she had to run around up and down the hills and long stairways while taking care of her sick husband.
